Ratings

I grew up reading film reviews, and although I have some reticence in using a rating system at all, I find it much easier to rate with a score out of 5, than the usual 100 points system in the majority of wine reviews. Ultimately, a score is a quick and easy symbol of what been written, so heck, why not an arbitrary 5-points system, right?

Points

* Bomb (undrinkable)

** If there’s nothing else… (still, think about it)

*** Good (fence sitter, you do alot better, but do alot worse)

**** Excellent (tasty; drink this wine)

***** Outstanding (superb; buy one for now, one for Christmas, and one for posterity)
