Look what I just got!

Picked up 3 Rockford Black Sparkling Shiraz from Zen Beverages. Zen specialises in rare, cult and back vintage wines… I’ll also add that I highly recommend them.

Review coming after these have been lying down for several weeks.

Is there any better sight for a lover of sparkling shiraz?

What disgorgement did you get Teddy? I tend to find Black Shiraz always tastes better after a couple of years in the bottle. A 2002 disgorgement I had in 2007 was to die for, probably the best sparkling ‘raz I’ve had. If only I had that sort of patience every year…

  These three are from the 2009 disgorgement. I’m really keen to have one in a few months, though I’m worried that might be premature. Nevertheless, the other two – if I can temper myself – I’ll keep away for a couple of years. Oh, and I’m jealous about the 2002
